Strong price movements among mid-range and more affordably priced cars were particularly noteworthy.</li><li>Activity in private sales continued to accelerate, with <strong>prices up 14% year-over-year</strong>—the second month in a row of double-digit YOY increases.</li><li>Ratings for both broad market and high-end insured values hit all-time highs. <strong>Particularly strong increases among high-end cars</strong> were recorded, following a slow start to the year.</li><li>The rating was weighted down by expert sentiment, which declined 1.7 points as <strong>dealer inventory is reportedly beginning to build up</strong> and it becomes <strong>increasingly difficult to locate perfect cars for sale</strong>.</li><li>April’s reported rating was revised down to 71.57 from 71.81 due to newly released inflation numbers.</li></ul></P>
