Today on eBay: 1975 Corvette Stingray coupe

1975 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray coupe: Sold 5/8/12 for $8,500. Like most ‘75s this car sported the base L48 350 cid engine. Unlike most, this one was a four-speed rather than an automatic. The pictures were terrible (small and few angles and nothing of the underside or the frame).

The engine compartment was an odd mix of new chrome dress-up stuff and old grime. A few years ago, this was all the money in the world for a post-1972 C3; now if everything checks out, it seems slightly well-bought for a manual transmission ’75 Corvette. After a sharp slump about 18 months ago, C3 prices are on the rise again.
