We’ve become quite fond of all things Wild Cherry. Hagerty is headquartered in Traverse City, Michigan, which is known as the Cherry Capital of the World. And if you want to read a mind-boggling story (or 10) that proves that truth is stranger than fiction, check out the saga of the Wild Cherry van. Naturally, we’re pretty stoked about the news that the 2021 Chevrolet Camaro will be offered in Wild Cherry paint.

That’s just one of the new features confirmed by Chevrolet spokesperson Kelly R. Wysocki, who referred us to the new Camaro online order guide.

Wild Cherry Tintcoat—which is a deep red—joins the premium color palette, but it looks like Rally Green Metallic and Garnet Red Tintcoat are gone. According to Muscle Cars & Trucks, which was first to report the discovery, a new “Wild Cherry Design Package” joins upgrades such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as a 10-speed automatic for the Camaro SS 1LE package. It appears that the Shock and Steel Special Edition, which debuted in 2020, will be a one-year-only offering.

The 2021 Chevrolet Camaro Wild Cherry Design Package, available on coupe and convertible versions, comes in two forms. According to the order guide, Wild Cherry Design Package 1—available to customers who order Wild Cherry Tintcoat paint and the RS Package—comes with Black Metallic hash mark stripes, LPO Camaro logo wheel center caps, LPO (WR1/57W) 20-inch five-split-spoke polished forged wheels with Black star center cap, premium carpeted floor mats with Camaro logo, and a Camaro fender badge emblem. Package 1 is available on the Camaro 2LT, 3LT, LT1 (1LZ), 1SS, and 2SS trim levels, but not 1LT or ZL1 models. It can be had on all convertibles except the ZL1.

Wild Cherry Design Package 2 includes everything in Package 1, as well as a black fuel filler door with a visible carbon insert, second-gen Carbon Flash Metallic ground effects, and a Silver/Black/Black Metallic center stripe. To get Package 2, customers must opt for Wild Cherry Tintcoat color (GSK) and either the Black, Silver, or Black Metallic center stripe.

Wysocki says that no pricing, photos, nor additional are available at the moment, but we’ll keep you posted on any other Camaro developments.
