Own the final production Dodge Demon and Viper, declare war on all tires

If you’ve just come out from living under a rock for the last several years, Dodge has been churning out its own muscle-infused flavor of no-holds-barred American performance. While for a long time the Viper the Mopar standard-bearer, these days it’s the Challenger SRT Demon whose photo is being Scotch-taped on bedroom and dorm-room walls. To signify this changing of the muscle guard, Dodge will offer the final production Viper as well as the final-production Demon as a single lot at Barrett-Jackson’s upcoming Northeast auction, June 20–23 in Connecticut.

Dodge is calling this sale “The Ultimate Last Chance,” but I’d call it “Where Tires Go to Die.” Both rubber-roasting monsters will cross the block in the same shade of Viper Red with black interiors, honoring the original red-on-black Dodge Viper RT/10 from the early ’90s.

Production of the Viper at the Conner Avenue plant finished at the end of 2017, and Dodge recently announced that the facility will be converted into a heritage center. For the Demon, Dodge is only building 3300 total units—3000 for the U.S. and 300 for Canada. As part of The Ultimate Last Chance, the cars will get exclusive badging and VIN documentation.

All proceeds from the charity auction will go to United Way.
