Larry Webster

Long-time automotive journalist, amateur racer, and inveterate car enthusiast, Larry Webster is Hagerty’s Senior Vice President of Content. After earning an engineering degree from Lehigh University, he started his journalism career as a gofer at Car and Driver. By 1995 he was the magazine’s Technical Editor, a role he held until 2004 when he became the publication’s Technical Director. Along the way, he also served as the host of Car and Driver Television from 2002 through 2005. In 2008 he departed Car and Driver to take the position of Automotive Editor of Popular Mechanics. In June 2012 he was invited to move to Road & Track where he was appointed Editor-in-Chief, a role he held until he joined Hagerty in 2016.

Wayne Carini

Master car restorer Wayne Carini has a resume that includes body and paintwork on many of the world’s rarest cars, including too many Ferraris to count. He has been featured in the New York Times as well as numerous automobile magazines, and is the host of Chasing Classic Cars, in its 17th season on Discovery’s Velocity channel. Wayne owns and operates F40 Motorsports, F40 Restoration, and Carini Consulting, where Wayne advises and manages collections for clients around the world.

 


Colin Comer

The founder of Colin’s Classic Automobiles in Milwaukee, Colin has authored several critically acclaimed books, including Shelby Cobra Fifty Years, and The All-American Muscle Car. Colin is the Marketplace Director at Hagerty, as well as a contributing editor for multiple magazines. He has served as a Pebble Beach judge and was the chief judge of the Milwaukee Concours d’Elegance. In 2012, Autoweek named Colin an automotive industry “Mover and Shaker,” and in 2013, Esquire named Shelby Cobra Fifty Years the “Greatest Car Book of All Time.” An accomplished racer in several categories, he is a past VSCDA Race Driver of the Year.

 


Dave Kinney

Beginning in his early teens, Dave Kinney worked at a classic and exotic car dealership. Although he was “bored with school,” he couldn’t get enough of the history, backstories, and characters surrounding cars. During the past 25 years, Kinney has owned hundreds of collector vehicles and has participated in the sale, repair, and valuation of all types of automobiles. A long-time FCA member and Ferrari owner, Dave is one of the country’s leading automobile valuation authorities. An accredited automobile appraiser, he is also the publisher of the Hagerty Price Guide and the author of many articles on valuation.
