Hagerty Spring Thaw Classic Car Adventure photos

Hagerty’s Nigel Matthews recently participated in the Hagerty Spring Thaw Classic Car Adventure, which travelled 1,100 miles in some of the most beautiful part of Canada.

Of the 65 cars that began the event in Squamish near Whistler, 63 completed it. Some of the significant cars included a nearly $1 million Bentley Continental R previously owned by Sir Anthony Bamford, who owns JCB Tractors and a fine collection of cars in the UK; a 1960 Alvis TD 21 DHC, one of 120 built; a 1961 Aston Martin DB4; a Jaguar MK V with a Chevrolet Engine; and a red 1957 Alfa Romeo SS, which was the 1957 Turin Auto Show Prototype and is one of two cars with an alloy body.
