It was a hot and sunny day in Traverse City, Mich., on July 4th, and more than 600 classic and collectible vehicles were on display at the Hagerty Family Car Show as part of the opening weekend of the National Cherry Festival. The event featured traditional classic cars, hot rods and vintage trucks, antique motorcycles, tractors, race cars, wooden boats – even vintage snowmobiles. 19 major awards, all sponsored by local businesses, were given out, along with dozens of random prizes. We want to thank the Hagerty Family, the National Cherry Festival, the City of Traverse City, the Downtown Traverse City Association, NASA, and all of the volunteers who gave their time and efforts – but mostly, to the collectors and vendors who supported the event by displaying their fabulous collector vehicles.
