Recently on eBay: 1974 Triumph TR6
1974 Triumph TR6 (SOLD 6/11/12 for $24,000): This appeared to be a very high driver-quality TR6 in the popular colors of Carmine Red and Tan with two valuable options — overdrive and a factory hard top. The very nice engine compartment came complete with correct green radiator hoses and wire clamps. The underside wasn’t detailed and some overspray was visible, indicating this wasn’t a body-off-frame restoration. It was a nice Pacific Northwest car that looks absolutely ready to go. The price seems strong; my sense is that if one waits long enough, this type of car can be found in the high teens still. Perhaps it’s indicative of the long-anticipated rise in TR6 prices. Best to buy one now if you’re in the market.
