Today, the Vega is commonly known as a cheap commuter car from the 70s, but a few may still remember the Cosworth Vega. This sporty version was treated to a twin-cam four from Cosworth. Yes, that Cosworth. The short lived model was the American alternative to small, sporty BMW and Alfa Romeo two-doors of the time. Today, Cosworth Vegas still remain a cheap alternative to the small European sports cars of the era and they’re a relatively good deal today as prices have only kept up with inflation over the past 30 years.
