The Drive Home: Nomad, 300G and Mustang trek from Tacoma to Detroit

Three classic cars from LeMay: America’s Car Museum – a 1957 Chevrolet Nomad, 1961 Chrysler 300G and 1966 Ford Mustang – are nearing completion of a 2,400-mile road trip through snow and ice from Tacoma, Wash., to Detroit for the North American International Auto Show.

Along the way, “The Drive Home” has included a number of rallies that are open to the public. You can follow the journey on FacebookTwitter and Instagram and read about the trip on ACM’s Motor Mouth Blog.

REMAINING PUBLIC STOPS

Wednesday, Jan. 6 – Caffeine and Gasoline (hosted by Shell), 9-10 a.m. at 517 Mall Dr., Schaumburg, Ill.

Friday, Jan. 8 – “Welcome Home” drive down Woodward Ave., Detroit; and Cars and Coffee (hosted by Lincoln of Troy), 8-9 a.m. at 1950 West Maple Rd., Troy, Mich.
