Market commentary
Built for the 60th anniversary of the 911, the S/T is a lightweight model that combines the engine from a GT3 RS with a special close-ratio gearbox, but is generally aimed at fast, fun driving on the street rather than at the track. The S/T technically started at just over $291,000 when it came out but, as often happens with limited-production 911s and seemingly no matter how many times Porsche makes one, the S/T became an instant collectible. This result isn't surprising, and there are several out there right now at dealers asking over $700K and even $800K.
