Market commentary
Named for 1920s Grand Prix driver Albert Divo and based on the Chiron, the Divo is a track-focused model unveiled at The Quail in 2018. The announced price was $5.8M, and all 40 cars reportedly sold out in a day. This one was part of a collection of modern hypercars consigned at nearly the last minute by Bonhams, all sold at no reserve. This is also the first Divo offered for public auction so there aren't any comps to look at, but this price is a sizable jump from what the first owner paid. This Divo was also the fifth most expensive car sold at Monterey Car Week.
