Equipment
Whipple supercharger, Accufab throttle body, Ford Racing long tube headers, Ford Racing exhaust, alloy wheels, tinted glass, Alpine stereo.
Condition
Other than a couple of scratches on the transmission tunnel, this car has like new paint, interior and underbody. Somewhat lightly modified for performance, this is a GT that someone actually drove and actually had fun with. Its 12,073 miles make it the highest mileage GT I can ever remember seeing, and you know what? It's not really any worse than other ones out there with 12 on the odometer.
Market commentary
It's a shame that hardly anybody seems to have ever actually enjoyed the 550 supercharged horses of a GT to any significant degree, and it's a surprise that more people haven't succumbed to the the temptation to do so. The owner of this one with its light but significant mods did, though, and the bidders don't seem to have minded much, bidding it to a slight discount but not as much as you would expect for a car with significant mods and a huge number of miles (relatively speaking) on the odometer.
