Well maintained original factory paint. Clean, well maintained chassis and underbody. Engine compartment is clean and in near showroom condition. Interior is unrestored in near factory condition with little or no wear. Carefully equipped and seldom driven. It's only traveled 4,777 miles despite the surely intoxicating power from the supercharger by Comptech, who specially designs blowers for all kinds of Hondas from these NSXs to your family Accord. Current cost of the kit is $10,400 with an estimated 13 hours for professional installation and a 60-70 boost in power to 350 bhp or so.
Market commentary
2005 was the last year for the original NSX, and by then it cost almost $90,000. These cars have always been appreciated and never really got cheap, and the greater recent interest in modern Japanese performance cars combined with the introduction new hybrid NSX looks like it has brought even more attention to these mid-engine masterpieces. The bidders ignored the performance mods and afforded this car about 60 grand more than it cost new, which was barely 10 years ago. This car was also bid to $125,000 at Mecum Monterey in August but didn't sell, so in this case holding out for a higher bid paid off for the seller.
