Equipment
Driven by Michael Schumacher in the first six races of the 2004 season with wins in Australia, Malaysia, Bahrain, San Marino and Spain then retired after that stupid crash in the Monaco tunnel. Rebuilt by the Scuderia and race ready but the new owner cant have it until 2006 although it can be driven at Fiorano and in F1 Clienti events, which is probably all anyone wants to, or can, do with it anyway.
Market commentary
A lot of money Yes, it is, but this also is a lot of car and a rare opportunity for someone with more money than they can figure out how to spend to join a very exclusive group. The F2004s significance looms larger this year with the failure of the F2005 to be competitive. In the cyclical business of F1 this may be a high point for Ferrari.
