Market commentary
Ford spun the visually uninspiring '99-'04 Mustang with several special editions, including the Mach 1 with its 305-hp engine based on the Cobra, a shaker hood scoop, Magnum 500-style wheels and a suspension setup similar to that found on the Bullitt Mustang. This car would have cost about $30,000 when new almost 15 years ago. It's still in like-new condition, but in terms of value it's still in used car territory, as this price demonstrates. It'll be a few years yet before collectors really start to appreciate a mothballed 2000s Mustang like this (if ever).
