Market commentary
Sold for $220,023 at Bonhams Monaco auction in May of this year with 6,623km. After backing out the commissions, it cost about $40,000 ($40 kilometer) to own this Barchetta for 6 months, an expensive summer diversion, to be sure, but Barchetta buyers blow that much on a months staff and upkeep on their mega yachts, an observation which helps put this kind of indulgence in perspective.
