Equipment
5992cc/575hp, 6-speed, modular wheels, Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, orange calipers.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Number 67 of 80 built. Engine rebuilt in 2017. Serviced last year. Showing 63,565 km (39,497 miles). Two small chips in the nose. Age showing in the wheels. Chips in the coating on the carbon rear wing. Scratches around the driver’s door lock, presumably from the key. Lightly wrinkled seats. A few things to nitpick, but the track-oriented GT is one of the rarest and most desirable variants of the Diablo.
Market commentary
With revised aero, a wider track, lighter weight and more power, the Diablo GT represented a limited-production, high-performance package introduced just before the model ceased production. That's usually a recipe for collectability, and it is here. We rarely see them at auction, but this result shows that even visibly used Diablo GTs are officially million-dollar cars now. A cleaner, lower-mile example could conceivably be a $2M car, even.
