Equipment
Aftermarket wheels, power windows, air conditioning.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Late AP1 car. Original top has seen better days with a small rip on the driver's side and a larger one on the passenger's side right above the window. Big paint chip in the middle of the driver's door. A few chips in the nose. Big scrape in the left side of the rear bumper, likely from a fender bender. Lots of road wear underneath. Oxidation on the original brake calipers and the original rotors look pretty worn. Curb rash on the wheels. Lightly worn but sound interior. Undisclosed mileage. Not quite a beater S2000, but close.
Market commentary
Run as Lot W121.1 and hammered not sold at $7,000, then hammered sold the next day at $8,000. These cars would really take abuse, as this one could probably attest, but they started becoming collectible almost as soon as Honda stopped making them in 2009, so it's not hard at all to find a much better example. That said, this is downright cheap in the current market for S2000s where it's hard to find anything for under five figures. Not a good car, but a good buy.
