Equipment

Show concept vehicle with off road racing inspired independent suspension, featuring billet aluminum upper control arms, steel lower arms and adjustable 32 inch coils over gas linked shocks and custom machined steering linkage. The bumper, fender, wheel wells and lower trim panels are made of Kevlar, making them virtually indestructible. Billet aluminum wheels and central tire inflation system. Inside the Equator features 4 leather contoured bucket seats. The rear seats and bulkhead fold down creating a cargo space that is 6 long and 5 + wide. Sold on a bill of sale only and not street legal. All proceeds to Red Cross for hurricane relief.

Market commentary

Concepts are one of the hot collecting areas these days and for sure both Ford and the Leake Auction Company thought this one would do better. Its worth the price paid, especially if it was bought by a Ford dealer who can use the publicity to move more F150s.
