Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

19 Nascar style aluminum wheels, Goodyear Z low profile tires, 300hp supercharged engine. Connolly leather interior. Carbon fiber accents everywhere. A promotional vehicle intended as the prototype for a series by Danny Sullivan and Bruce Canepa. Rendered pointless when Petty Enterprises switched to Dodge in 2001. Still pointless.

Market commentary

Danny and Bruce sunk a ton of money into creating this showpiece only to have it squelched by racing realities. Its just a custom Pontiac Grand Prix now, worth ... A low mileage Grand Prix GTP is worth $20,000, so generously this one might be worth $40,000, not the $90K the boys are looking for.
