Condition
Represented with 37,505 km (23,300 miles). Original car showing some light chips to the front bumper and a small dent to the left fender. The engine compartment has been detailed and presents well for the age, but the intake manifold and exhaust shield do have oxidation. The interior shows little wear from use and presents well. A well cared for S15 Silvia that has managed to escape modifications.
Market commentary
It's relatively clean, low mileage and, most importantly, unmodified. The S15 (1999-2002) generation Silvia was a favorite among the drifting and tuner crowd in the countries where it was sold (Japan, Australia, New Zealand), and as a model that came out in 1999, it only became eligible to bring into the U.S. legally last year. Of the Monterey auctions this year, Broad Arrow had the most offerings to draw in the JDM crowd, and for the most part it paid off. This is a healthy but not outrageous price.
