Market commentary
What better place to sell a "Monterey Edition" thing than in Monterey? With buyer premium, the reported high bid here would hit the low estimate, and across the peninsula Gooding Christie's sold another Monterey Edition Diablo in a slightly darker shade of blue and with similar mileage for $527,500. Given all the above, a deal should have happened here.
