Equipment
225hp Rover V8, Porsche 944 5 speed transaxle, Wilwood disc brakes, 4 wheel independent suspension, limited slip differential. Essentially custom built throughout with monocoque chassis and new or rebuilt parts. This special seems to be related to the MG B V8 sold today as lot 202. Quality workmanship but curiously luxurious with leather interior for a high performance special. Street licensed. No Reserve.
Market commentary
Things like this are a hard sell and depend upon finding the right buyer at the right time. Its a crap shoot at any given auction, but the auction may still be much better than fielding calls from tire kickers and dealing with chiseler who dont really have any money for months and months. This is a fun car, bought for a fair but not economical price.
