Market commentary
It's almost a joke that the 190 E 2.5 Evo II has a vacuum gauge in the instrument cluster labeled "Economy". It is a remarkably fearsome competitor even with only 232hp, but in 1990 232hp was muscle to be reckoned with and this was the package that won the 1990 DTM. Homologation specials, especially in good condition like this, are increasingly rare and even among an array of recent supercars this baby Benz got plenty of attention from the RM Miami bidders. It's not cheap but it is hard to find one this good at this point in time.
