Market commentary

Offered by a very enthusiastic consignor who had gone to great lengths to back up the cars documentation and support it with tee shirts and the like. However, while this car would be the centerpiece of any Jeff Gordon fans collection its importance is minimal. Its a Ford (Gordons reputation has been built in Chevys); its a Busch car (no one cares about Busch cars); its in Baby Ruth livery (Gordon is identified with DuPont paints). It was reported a No Sale at Kruse last week at $36,000.
