Equipment
3.4L twin-turbo, 6-speed, RUF wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, cross-drilled brakes, power windows, Blaupunkt cassette.
Condition
Known as the “Redbird” thanks to its paint-to-sample color. One of six Lightweight models built and used for a time as Alois Ruf’s personal car. Commissioned for a German doctor, and currently showing 18,891 km (11,738 miles). No major issues or wear or tear.
Market commentary
With just 29 built, RUF's breakout hit, the CTR Yellowbird is a rare sight on market or anywhere, but with two huge sales of $4.68M and a record $6.06M earlier this year, it makes sense that more would pop up for sale. This one's price also makes sense. Its condition and equipment make it desirable, but that $6.06M car from earlier this year had almost no miles and was finished in the more common but more famous shade of Blutengelb (Blossom Yellow).
