Equipment
350/235hp, automatic, air conditioning, power windows and locks, cassette player stereo, cruise control.
Condition
Very good paint and body. The engine compartment has been carefully detailed and the underbody has a coating of road grime, but no rust. The seats have some light wear and a few dash buttons are starting to wear. A well stored, original GTA notchback showing 30,956 miles and apparently just out of a 14-year period of storage.
Market commentary
The rear of the notchback Trans Am GTA might have tricked someone into thinking you had a Ferrari for about a fraction of a second, but sacrificed the practicality of the big glass hatch. Notchback GTAs nevertheless command a higher price now just as they did when they were new, but third generation Firebirds still aren't exactly valuable cars and the reported high bid here was a reasonable one for a car fresh out of long-term storage and probably in need of comprehensive mechanical attention after its hibernation..
