Market commentary
Second generation RX7s suffer from middle child syndrome. They weren't the groundbreaking sports car that the first gen was, and they weren't the technical tour de force that the third gen was. Prices have been relatively stagnant even as other Japanese classics have soared. But that just makes it a buyer's market for these cars, and this one was a deal. It sold for $21,280 last year at a Worldwide auction and for $15,950 in Auburn two years ago, so $12,100 all-in is a steal.
