Condition
Sold new in Germany, then in the UK by the early 1990s when it had the the speedometer replaced with a unit measuring in miles after covering 2811 km. It now shows 15,080 miles. There is a minor crack in the left front marker lens, plus two small chips on the bottom front. A scrape on the left rear wheel has been touched up, a bit crudely. The interior looks fantastic, and there don’t appear to be any issues other than cosmetic ones.
Market commentary
Reported sold by RM at London in November 2021 for $1,562,427, only a smidgen different from what it brought today and today showing only 166 more miles than it did fourteen months ago, the definition of a static market for an important automobile.
