Equipment
Rallied initially by David Llewellin, winner of the 1986 Circuit of Ireland. Unused in recent years on museum display. 300hp cams fitted (400hp cams (an intriguing concept, the grind must be pretty exciting) included), 5 speed crash gearbox. Needs thorough freshening and preparation before being used in competition.
Market commentary
Perhaps the most successful 6R4 built, with an attractive history to UK buyers. These are blindingly fast and responsive machines rapidly approaching their 21st birthdays and acceptance into the world of antiques. This price is probably reasonable in the UK, even in view of the needed work, but unapproachable in the US where the 6R4 has no visibility and historic rallying is an oxymoron.
