Market commentary
This Datsun was at Mecum's Chicago sale three months ago where it was bid to only $9,000. The result here is much more reasonable for its condition, mileage and equipment, particularly the 5-speed but even at this price there is a material premium for originality and the result overlooks that the ZX lost some 14hp from the earlier Z.
