Condition
An unrestored original Corvette with 1,166 miles. The paint has bad scratching on the right quarter panel as if it scraped against something and the passenger's door has paint chips (likely from doors being opened into it). The paint has been rubbed through just behind the rear window on the driver's side. Mechanicals and interior are all factory fresh condition. Stored, but not lovingly. It may have next to no miles, but there are more used examples in better cosmetic condition than this. Over 6,700 were built, too, so there are others to choose from.
Market commentary
The bidders either didn't look this car over closely or ignored them to focus on the barely four-figure mileage. It was a high price that could have bought a better car.
