Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

The first Bowling Green built Corvette, preserved as a time capsule with 17 miles from new, but three owners including Bill and Kevin Adams and the Ralph Braun Foundation. Sold as a pair with 0441.1, the last St. Louis built Corvette with proceeds to the Ralph Braun Foundation. No Reserve.

Market commentary

This is not an especially wonderful Corvette, except for its place in history as the first Bowling Green car. It and its counterpart, the last off the St. Louis line, are surprisingly modestly priced, despite its age, and will occupy a place of pride in any collection of Corvettes or American automobiles.
