Equipment
Panasport wheels, Yokohama tires, Holley carbs, Edelbrock intake, rear luggage rack, later CD stereo.
Condition
Clean engine bay with Holley carbs in place of the original Zenith-Strombergs. Decent older paint that's generally a bit faded throughout and has several touch ups on the hood and scratches on the right front fender. Very good interior. Sound condition for one of these later wedge Triumphs, but it's still in no more than driver condition.
Market commentary
The TR7 was both not easy to look at and somewhat underpowered, so Triumph at least addressed one of those problems by fitting it with the 3.5-liter Rover V-8. Genuine TR8s are relatively rare but they remain cheaper than the TR6, and the price paid here was spot on for a car in this condition.
