Equipment
This well used and almost used up 29 Model A Deluxe (identified by the twin side mounted spares) reproduction is powered by a 4cyl (Pinto) engine. Paint is chipped and scratched, Chrome and painted wire wheels rusty. Interior is worn and musty, but no tears in black vinyl seat covers. About 5000 of these reproductions were built by two successive corporations formed by Harry J. Shay. They were built with the help and permission of Ford Motor Co. Ford built the platform and engine, Shay assembled the car, and Ford, Mercury and Lincoln dealerships sold them. No Reserve.
Market commentary
Even for a Shay this is remarkably economical. The trouble is that it will never sound like a Model A, and thats part of the fun.
