Equipment
Campagnolo wheels, Pirelli Cinturato tires, Procar front spoiler, power windows, air conditioning, Sony cassette stereo from the '90s.
Condition
Represented with three owners from new and as one of 98 factory orange examples. Spent much of its life in Mexico City. Wheels are a little aged but not bad. Older repaint is very good. Original interior is lightly worn but remarkably good. Very well taken care of, but that can be said of most M1s.
Market commentary
Hammered not sold at Mecum Monterey in 2014 at a high bid of $375,000. Tried again at Mecum Monterey the following year, but not sold once more at a high bid of $450,000. Hammered not sold again at Bonhams Scottsdale last year at another $450,000 high bid. It's a low price for an M1, but nobody seems to be willing to get any closer to half a million dollars and the seller finally got the message.
