Equipment
Aftermarket modular wheels, Toyo tires, tinted glass, air conditioning.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Showing 107,758 miles. The radio is missing. The seat upholstery is very stiff and there is a small rip on the driver's side. Sound but somewhat tired original paint with several chips on the nose. Light road wear but no major problems underneath. The roof vinyl is a bit tired. This car has a lot of miles, but it is represented with extensive servicing, which is reassuring because these cars were well built and will last a long time if properly cared for. It's a solid driver, nothing more and nothing less.
Market commentary
Not sold at a $28,000 high bid at Mecum Monterey last month, which was a generous offer that the consignor should have eagerly taken. The 911 SC is one of the least valuable classic 911s, and a high-mileage driver like this isn't worth a whole lot over 20 grand even though someone paid $27,500 for it at Mecum's Denver sale in July.
