Market commentary
Offered at Mecum's Monterey auction in August with a reported high bid of $105,000, this 308 GTB is unusual in its black-over-black livery, but isn't in very good condtion and isn't backed up by any maintenance history. The much lower bid here is indicative of a more experienced group of bidders. The consignor would be well advised to hear their opinion and be guided accordingly in adjusting expectations.
