Equipment

Janie, the last Checker Marathon in cab service on the streets of New York. Frostemp A C. Truly scrofulous just like it was when it carrying paying passengers, a typicaly beat up, quickly repaired and painted NYC cab. Current NYS inspection sticker. No Reserve.

Market commentary

Once sold by Sothebys for over a Hundred Large in a highly publicized sale after Janie was taken out of service in 1999 but now its just an old relic. Dermot Chichester employed a good portion of his practiced persuasiveness to coax even this much out of the bidders, and it is still all the money.
