Equipment

A race car from new owned by Egon Evertz in Germany. 12th and Group 5 winner at Daytona 1976, 9th OA, 3rd in Gr 5 at Le Mans, then hillclimbed in Germany by Heinrich Symanzick with 11 wins. Sold to the US in 1989, then back to Germany in 04. Very original old race car with tech stickers, 917 brakes, roll cage, fire system. Original engine. Freshly repainted in the original color, this RSR isnt beautiful, but it is RTR.

Market commentary

This is a huge price, even for a uniquely original, historic and fast 3.0 RSR with a good racing history. It is demonstrably what the market will bear, however.
