Equipment

Built as the M25 prototype F5000 car, never raced. Converted to M23 Cosworth Ford F1 spec as a spare, then to Emilio de Villota who raced it in several Aurora AFX series races with good results. Sold to Foulston in 79 and unused since. 76 miles on the engine which was rebuilt in 1986(!). Needs comprehensive attention after long dormancy.

Market commentary

The seller should be very happy to get this much for a DFV powered F1 car with no history to speak of, particularly one that basically hasnt turned a wheel in fifteen years. Emilio de Villota just doesnt measure up to James Hunt or Mike Hailwood when it comes to leaving valuable bun prints.
