Equipment
360cid V-8, column shift automatic, aftermarket bolt on fuel injection, hub caps.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Good paint and body with straight panels and clear decals. The engine compartment is aged and shows use, and the frame has been repainted. The interior has plenty of old components, but the seats have been redone. Cosmetically restored and in good driver condition.
Market commentary
This is a neat truck, and not the kind of thing you see often. These J-Series Jeeps will always stand out in a sea of vintage C10s and F-Series. This one was a $13,750 no-sale on Bring a Trailer last November but had much better luck at this live auction than it did online. While Monterey isn't generally the venue for old American trucks, this was still a Mecum auction, and arguably a much better place to sell a pickup than on BaT.
