Market commentary
Though this car possesses great provenance, condition and aesthetics, its final price exceeded a nice Ferrari Daytona that sold two lots later by nearly $80,000 and it was just $60,000 short of a solid small block Cobra that sold to the same audience. Even when considering huge and recent increases in Dino prices, this cars price was stunning and had tongues wagging all over Monterey for days.
