Equipment
Factory built Group 3 race car. Raced by its first owner, under the pseudonym Kabibo, including 1977 Vallelunga 6 Hours finishing 9th OA and Italian Hillclimb Champion in 1982 and 1983. Equipped with 4 piston disc brakes, four Weber 46 IDA carbs (makes 520bhp) and racing seats (original seats included). Cosmetically original right down to period inspection stickers, mechanically OK but not fresh; a thorough service and checkout is in order.
Market commentary
This is an exceptional Pantera but also an appropriate offer for it in dollars. The alternatives in Group 3 or 4 race cars with comparable history are even more expensive and its utilitarian historic racing value is substantial. At its Euros130,000 low estimate it would be a sound acquisition for a European racer. Todays $170,000 conversion of those Euros, however, is outta sight in the US market.
