Market commentary
Countering the over-estimate performance of the most of the other performance 911 variants in this single owner 8-car collection, this RS sport lightweight bore the burden of a replacement engine and gearbox and closed out this segment of the sale with a moderate result. It was the later year 993 and 964 cars that brought the most exaggerated results, with earlier cars like this and the 930s selling more modestly.
