Market commentary
The long hood RS continues to be the Porsche that most often comes to mind when someone says the numbers 911 and of those, none is as desirable as the RS lightweight. As a factory lightweight this car is no trivial thing but its condition suggests the next owner has some work ahead and, at this price, theres little room for the kinds of Porsche repairs that can quickly lead to a full resto. The RS is little changed since last sold by Barrett Jackson Scottsdale in 2002 for $127,440 and the cars new price reflects their increasing popularity.
