Equipment
3929cc/350hp, 5-speed, Campagnolo wheels, Michelin Harmony tires, woodrim steering wheel, power windows, air conditioning, Philips cassette.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Sold new in Florida. Originally finished in Bleu Spettrale. Showing 9780 miles that are represented as actual. Rough, heavily scratched bumpers. The door handles and window frames don’t look much better. Decent older repaint. Worn driver’s seat with a ripped seam on the left side, but the rest of the upholstery, dash and switchgear look quite good. Tidy and maintained but unrestored underneath.
Market commentary
Espadas are capable vintage GT cars with oh-so-seventies Italian styling, decent room for four full-sized adults (unlike most sporty 2+2s of the period) and some luggage, and a 12-cylinder soundtrack. The final Series III versions like this one are also the most developed, the most powerful and the best-appointed, so generally tend to be worth a little more than early ones. About 1200 Espadas in total left Sant'Agata Bolognese from 1968-78. This is a sensible price for one in driver condition.
