Market commentary
Its interesting, and perhaps instructive of current buyers preferences that this Daytona Spyder was originally Rosso Dino with Tan leather but has just been restored in Black over Black. Does this presage the end of Resale Red, even on Ferraris The last time this Daytona Spyder was auctioned (at Brooks Quail in 2001, a $300,000 no sale) it was still Rosso and showing a bit more use and age than the 10,070 miles would indicate. It was $367,185 when sold at B J in 1998 and $376,500 when sold at Brooks Cavallino in 2001. The price here is appropriate to its presentation in the current market and shows no haircut for not being red. A sound value in an eminently usable Ferrari that probably needs a few more miles and dont you wish youd bought it at Quail six years ago so you could have put them on it
