Equipment
4390cc/450hp, 5-speed, side exhaust, centerlock wheels, Goodyear tires.
Condition
One of 15 competition Daytonas produced, raced at LeMans in 1973/74, 2nd overall and first in class at Daytona in 1979. Documented ownership, awarded the Enzo Trophy at Pebble Beach in 2024. Very good paint. The driver's door needs adjusting and will not close properly. The engine and underbody are spectacular and the interior is flawless. Restored by Motion Products a few years ago, and a gorgeous competition Daytona.
Market commentary
In surprisingly clean (almost too clean) condition for a race car, and with great history, this was always going to be one of the stars of Car Week. And it's hard to argue with this price, which puts it at sixth spot in the most expensive cars sold at Monterey 2025.
